PRESIDENT
FATIMA ABBAS MUSA holds a B.A. (Hons.) in History from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and an M.Sc. in International Management from the University of the West of England, Bristol, UK.
Prior to joining NNPC Retail Limited (NRL) in 2009, she worked with Travelex Worldwide Services, UK, managing HSBC foreign exchange purchase transactions. She currently serves as Lead, Banking Operations in NRL’s Treasury Department.
She is a Chartered Accountant, a Fellow of the Association of Financial Analysts of Nigeria (AFAN) and the Financial Planning Skills Institute (FPSI), and a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN), and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).
VICE PRESIDENT
OLUWATOBI E. AKINWALIRE has a BSc in Computer Science (with Economics) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. Prior to joining NRL in 2013, he worked at UAC of Nigeria Plc as a Management Trainee in Supply Chain, Internal Audit, Corporate Strategy across the Pension & Manufacturing subsidiaries. In NNPC Retail he has worked in Retail Sales, Strategy, Executive Office, Pricing and currently leads the CNG Business Development and Commercial sales drive of the organization. He is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) both of Project Management Institute (PMI) and International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA). He was the pioneer Treasurer of the Retail Staff Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited (RetCoop).
GENERAL SECRETARY
JULIET UJU EKO is a graduate of Business Administration from the University of Maiduguri. She had her mandatory one-year national service with Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation. She started her working career as a Support Staff in NNPC Retail Limited in 2008 and was absorbed as a full-fledged staff in 2013. Presently, she is one of the Admin Department in NNPC Retail Limited and also the pioneer Assistant General; Secretary of RetCoop. With great people skills, Juliet can always be relied upon anytime to deliver on any assignments. Her hobby includes making people happy. She is happily married with children.
ACTING FINANCIAL SECRETARY
IBRAHIM MOHAMMED GUMEL MIET, MNSE is a COREN registered Engineer with professional expertise in the field of Telecommunication and IT, a member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) and Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE). He is a graduate of Computer Engineering from Bayero University, Kano. Nigeria. He also obtained a master’s degree in Mobile & High-Speed Telecommunication Networks from Oxford Brookes University, United Kingdom. Mohammed worked with Etisalat before moving to Huawei Technologies ltd. He joined NNPC Retail Limited (NRL) in May 2013 and is presently the Lead Core ICT Infrastructure in NNPC Retail. He is a pioneer General Secretary of Retail Staff Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited (RetCoop).
TREASURER
BILYAMINU MUHAMMAD holds a B.Sc. in Accounting (2008) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) (2012), both from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto.
He began his career in academia, serving as a Lecturer at Sokoto State Polytechnic and a Part-Time Assistant Lecturer at Usmanu Danfodiyo University before joining NNPC Retail Limited in May 2013.
He currently serves in the Audit Department in Nnpc retail Limited, where he is responsible for Depot and Terminal Audit, contributing to effective internal controls, compliance, and operational excellence.
As Treasurer, he brings strong financial management expertise, accountability, and a commitment to the prudent management of the Cooperative’s resources.
ASSISTANT GENERAL SECRETARY
MARYAM BABAYO SHEHU holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in Economics from the American University of Nigeria (AUN). Before joining NRL in 2013, she worked as an Economic Officer at the American Embassy, Abuja Nigeria. Upon joining NRL, she served as a Planning Officer in the Planning and Strategy Department, where she contributed to the Company’s strategic planning and business development initiatives.
She currently serves as the North Central Retail Operating Standards and Training Officer responsible for ensuring that all NRL retail stations across the North Central region operate in full compliance with the Company’s operational standards, policies, and procedures.
She is a Chartered Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), reflecting her commitment to professional excellence and continuous development in management practice.
